About five years ago, my husband, our three kids and I packed up and moved to Upstate South Carolina. We knew we wanted mountains, a slower pace, and room for the kids to roam. What we didn’t know was where. Pickens? Clemson? Somewhere out in the country? We drove back roads, walked a lot of land, and asked a lot of questions before we finally found our spot outside a little town we’ve completely fallen in love with. That search is exactly why I do what I do. Moving somewhere new is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when every town looks charming on paper.
